Ruan Maritz joined BRUSA Sports from Aca Deo Baseball in South Africa. A catcher, it was Ruan’s dream to play baseball and study in the USA.

Securing a baseball scholarship as an international athlete isn’t easy. The level and being seen is insanely difficult.

At BRUSA Sports we were able to help Ruan secure not only a roster spot, but a baseball scholarship. He is now at Freed-Hardeman University in Tennessee.
