João Villa is a Brazilian men’s soccer player who has committed to Monroe University to join the Mustangs men’s soccer program in the USA.

Working alongside BRUSA Sports, João successfully navigated the international recruitment process and secured his opportunity to study and compete in American college soccer.

Before his recruitment to Monroe, João spent three years developing in Spain at International Development Academy Valencia, training and competing in a high-level European environment while preparing for the next stage of his career.

Originally from Brazil, João brings strong technical ability, international experience, and a global football background to the Mustangs program.

His journey from Brazil to Spain and now to the United States highlights the opportunities available to international student-athletes through USA college soccer recruitment and scholarship pathways.
