Gavin Bennett joining the BRUSA Sports Global team as the head of Baseball and other sports recruiting for Africa.

Gavin Bennett was an Associate scout for the Minnesota Twins Baseball Club in the USA  from 2007 – 2017. He is currently with the Tampa Bay Rays, he has had the privilege of signing three athletes to professional contracts in the USA.  Gavin is very involved in baseball in South Africa at both a Regional and National level, having coached the National team on a number of occasions in World Championships in various age groups from U15 to U23 as a pitching coach. He was recently part of the senior national team that won the African Continental Cup. Gavin has placed a number of athletes for various sports at colleges and universities in the USA. Gavin is very passionate about sport and helping young athletes achieve their goals by not only playing their desired sport at a high level but studying at a tertiary institute at the same time.
