Joining us from sunny Mauritius, Jarell discovered his passion for throws early in his athletic journey. Although relatively new to the sport, he quickly demonstrated natural ability, a strong work ethic, and the ambition to compete at the highest collegiate level while earning his degree.
Jarell has proudly represented Mauritius internationally, earning national selection for the Mauritius vs Réunion Island U18 Athletics Competition. His selection reflects both his talent and his potential to compete on bigger stages.
BRUSA Sports initially helped Jarell secure his junior college opportunity at Cloud County Community College, where he developed as both a student and athlete in one of the strongest NJCAA athletics conferences in the United States. During his time there, he continued to improve in the throwing events while also earning NJCAA All-Academic Honours.
Following a successful junior college career, BRUSA Sports once again supported Jarell through the transfer recruitment process, helping him secure his next opportunity at Wayland Baptist University for Fall 2026.
We are incredibly proud to have been part of both stages of Jarell’s journey and look forward to watching him continue to develop and succeed at the NAIA level with the Wayland Baptist Pioneers.
