About Lucas
Hailing from Puerto Rico, Lucas Miranda began his soccer journey with Surf Puerto Rico before making the move to IDA Valencia (International Development Academy, Spain).
BRUSA Sports helped Lucas secure a scholarship to South Dakota School of Mines in the United States.
He will join the Hardrockers Men’s Soccer program while beginning his academic journey in Pre-Med, working towards a future career in medicine.
Lucas’s pathway is a strong example of how student-athletes can combine academic ambition with athletic opportunity to access international education.
