About William
William Wise is a dedicated defender from Georgia, USA, currently training with the International Development Academy in Valencia, Spain. He is entering his second year of development and continues to grow into a strong, disciplined player.
William is focused on earning a college soccer opportunity in the United States for Fall 2026. His goal is to combine competitive soccer with academic success while contributing to a collegiate program that values teamwork, consistency, and commitment.
Playing Style and Strengths
William is a hard-working and reliable defender who brings intensity to every match. Solid in the backline, he focuses on mastering the fundamentals and maintaining possession under pressure. In addition, he reads the game well and makes accurate tackles at the right moment.
He plays comfortably on either flank — as a right or left back — and can step into a wingback role when needed. His right foot allows him to cut inside from the left, giving tactical flexibility to his team. Furthermore, he trains with focus and dedication, always seeking improvement in every session.

Over the past three years in Spain, William has refined his defensive awareness and ball control. As a result, he has become a consistent and dependable player who values both discipline and precision.
