About Tristan Grimett

Tristan Grimett, a standout South African water polo player, joined BRUSA Sports from St. David’s Marist Inanda. After representing South Africa at the U18 World Championships in Serbia, Tristan decided to pursue his dream of playing college water polo in the USA while earning his degree.

With BRUSA Sports’ guidance, Tristan joined the West Valley College Water Polo Team in Fall 2024. Where he quickly established himself as a starting player. His talent and dedication earned him selection to both the U20 and Men’s South African National Teams, competing in Croatia and Singapore in 2025.

In addition to water polo, Tristan also contributed to the West Valley College Swim Team, competing at the State Championship level.

BRUSA Sports continues to support Tristan as he prepares for a university transfer in Fall 2026, where he aims to join an NCAA water polo program and complete his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology.
